I miss our chats, I miss your texts

I miss your jokes and smiley face

Today we came to visit your grave

I read you a poem that chitra made

Its been a couple of really dreary days

Though sun’s been shining, in our heart it rains

To think No more greeting cards, will be signed in your name

Is a hard to pill to swallow though your memory remains

The heart of ocean we both wear on our chest

Protects my heart though for you it’s too late

About Me

I write about my struggles as a mum of a highly sensitive child and dealing with the education system. Our fights over 10 years with the  broken system, who were   determined to label him Autistic and how I managed to combat this. My journey as a migrant from a mixed marriage who lived through one war and chose her maternal country in the end in pursuit of happiness.
