.So my grandmother's rose it out and the scent is gorgeous.

I planted this as I never got to mourn her death.

I have lost a few things during my lifetime. Some family, some friends homes and even possessions I have had to leave behind. I have made many mistakes. I have forgiven myself and them and moved on. I appreciate what I have. I am grateful everyday I am on this earth.

I think of them when I see this rose bush. I remember the good times and say a prayer.

I look to the future and look forward to days when I am not seen just as a pretty face.

I also wanted to save time when it came to tending to my hair hence the hair cut and yes there is an underlining reason which is better left unsaid.

Do you look to the future? How do you cope with your losses? Do you make a change and move on or are you sat there with ashes on the mantelpiece and photos of the past surrounding your space?

Are you living in yesterday or do you replace it with a positive experience? Time for a change?

What can you do to help yourself? Do you want to meet others? Answer yes or no below. I would rather you took that baby step than repeated all the likes.

About Me

I write about my struggles as a mum of a highly sensitive child and dealing with the education system. Our fights over 10 years with the  broken system, who were   determined to label him Autistic and how I managed to combat this. My journey as a migrant from a mixed marriage who lived through one war and chose her maternal country in the end in pursuit of happiness.
